10:15 AM – 11:00 AM
In this workshop we will cover how Dance Floor Theory implementation at a Community College has impacted student leaders in their choice to show up everyday wearing their leadership pants. Everyday you wake up, you choose what style of leader you will be that day.

1:30 PM – 2:15 PM
Leaders are not born; they are developed, and college is a pivotal moment in almost every leader's life where you determine if you have what it takes to be a leader! You can either fly by the seat of your pants, or truly work to understand your passion, purpose, and who you are as a leader. What you believe as a leader, your Leadership Credo, will help you more accurately decide what leadership opportunities you will pursue. Your credo will drive leadership decisions in your career and personal life. Choose to be intentional about your leadership, take the next step, and discover what Words you LEAD by.
I'm looking forward to working with you!
-Amber
2:30 PM – 3:15 PM
Learn about the four components of emotional intelligence, using curiosity as a powerful tool for approaching conflict with less reactivity and reframing negative thoughts.
2:30 PM – 3:15 PM
There are many different ways to show up as a leader. In this session we will explore two of those possibilities, learning about Transformational Leadership and Servant Leadership. By the end of this session participants will understand the two styles of leadership and how to lead with purpose in real life situations.
3:30 PM – 4:15 PM
What are your core values and how do they support you? Through a step-by-step values mining activity, you’ll unveil your own core values, then discuss how they align with your education, job and personal life. Explore how to live your values more fully and consider how they can help you set priorities.
9:15 AM – 10:00 AM
Explore the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. Examine how does moving to a growth mindset help you in your work and in your life. Learn how to change your pattern of thinking and open yourself up to change, growth, learning and success. Start to work on a plan for putting growth mindset into action.
10:15 AM – 11:00 AM
Attendees will develop an elevator pitch that allows them to introduce themselves professionally and efficiently in a small amount of time.
10:15 AM – 11:00 AM
In this collage workshop, you’ll transform images into a journey from obstacles to inspiration, using your own gifts and talents as the tools for inspiration.

Together, we will learn more about bias, and how it affects us. Attendees will leave this workshop with two proven tools to combat bias and the other issues that come with it to be able to create more mindfully inclusive spaces.
